The NACOG Area Agency on Aging, Region III, serves clients in the four Northern Counties of Arizona, excluding the reservations.All Area Agencies advocate, plan, coordinate, develop and deliver services for seniors 60 years and older and for family caregivers. To meet its objectives, the NACOG Area Agency contracts with over 20 social service providers, health departments and nutrition sites to deliver services that assist the elderly, helping them to remain in their homes as long as possible.Direct service through Area Agency staff is also available for legal advocacy, benefits counseling and through the ombudsman program.

SHIP provides health and long-term care insurance information to Medicare eligible Arizonans, their families and caregivers. The purpose of this program is to ensure Arizonans receive the benefits to which they are entitled.
