Description:

CVAAA services are prioritized on helping those with greatest social and economic need, minorities and those older adults who are frail. Not all services are available in every county and most have waiting lists. There are nutrition, in-home and protective services available. Also services for caregivers and grandparents raising grandchildren. The major eligibility requirement is for the person needing service to be at least 60 years of age.

Special Notes:

The Cumberland Valley AAA offers home and community based services to idividuals 60 and over in the following counties: Bell, Clay, Harlan, Jackson, Knox, Laurel, Rockcastle and Whitley.
