From intersection of Highway 25 and 72 Bypass (Kmart, Walgreens, Exxon, Greenwood Mall), continue on Highway 25 toward downtown Greenwood approximately 1.7 miles. Turn left at first downtown traffic light (at Wachovia Bank) onto Seaboard Avenue. Go one block and turn right onto Phoenix Street at Wingard's Pharmacy. Upper Savannah is located to the right in the tall stucco building. Take elevator to second floor.

Description:

Upper Savannah Council of Governments' Area Agency on Aging is designated by the Lieutenant Governor's Office on Aging as the coordinating and planning body for services for older adults in Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick and Saluda counties. In 2010, the Agency was designated as the Upper Savannah Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC). The ADRC will target seniors and disabled individuals who are at imminent risk of being institutionalized, helping them stay healthy and active in their communities, and supporting families in their efforts to care for their loved ones at home.
