Adult Protective Services

APS protects vulnerable adults by investigating allegations of abuse, neglect, abandonment, and financial exploitation when the person lives in their own home. APS conducts an investigation at no charge and without regard to the income of the alleged victim. Some protective services may be provided without cost. Abuse can take many forms. Unfortunately, most instances of elder abuse come from trusted individuals such as adult children, other family members and paid or unpaid caregivers.
