Description:

Provides free legal assistance for persons age 60+, with certain civil legal problems. Persons under 60 must meet income guidelines to qualify for legal services. New clients should call to complete a telephone screening. Priority is given to those in most need. No cost for services.

Special Notes:

The program provides representration or advice in certain issue areas for the current year. Advance directives, simple wills and estate planning are done based on need, as caseloads permit. Cases involving securing or retaining benefits or to prevent loss of income or housing are priority.
