"SeniorCare, Inc. is a designated Area Agency on Aging. AAA's were established in 1973 to respond to the needs of Americans, aged 60 and over, in every local community. AAA's make assessments of an area's needs with regard to its aging population (Area Plan), and administer funds made available through the Older Americans Act. Some of the programs offered through AAA's are Meals on Wheels, Home Care, Abuse Prevention, and Nursing Home Ombudsman Programs. SeniorCare, Inc. is also a Massachusetts Aging Services Access Point (ASAP). ASAP's provide intake and referral services. They also implement, monitor, and reassess service plans. Their goal is to provide services in the least restrictive environment possible. 51% or more of the members of ASAP's Boards of Directors must be over the age of 60. As an ASAP, SeniorCare is a one-stop portal for elder services or information in our area. We can help with any aging related question you may have.
