Maryland Access Point (MAP) is the Aging & Disability Resource Center for Howard County. It is single point of entry for information and resource assistance. MAP serves persons of any income level who are 50 years & older, persons 18 years and older with a disability, family members, caregivers, service providers and professionals. MAP's goal is to maximize an individual's independence and quality of life by providing people with individualized resource information and assistance.

The State Health Insurance Assistance Program, or SHIP offers one-on-one counseling and assistance to people with Medicare and their families.
