Long Term Care Ombudsman Program provides information regarding nursing homes and assisted living facilities and helps families in selection of a facility. Offers advocacy and representation in regards to complaints related to nursing facilities.

The Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio, Inc. (AOoA) develops and implements a comprehensive and coordinated service delivery system for older adults residing in Northwestern Ohio. The AOoA develops programs and services for local senior citizens.

Provide transportation, food stamps, housing, employment assistance, and medical insurance for low-income individuals and families.

Provides information and resolution services of residential complaints. Help families select and resolve complaints about residential treatment in nursing homes, adult care communities and home care services.

Ohio's twelve Area Agencies on Aging are leading the development of the Front Door to long-term care services. Working with partners throughout their service areas, the agencies are working to streamline access to long-term services and supports for older adults and adults with physical disabilities.

OSHIIP provides free information and other health insurance services to people in Ohio covered by Medicare regardless of age.
