Provides free legal advice for MI residents 60+; Can also provide free pension benefit assistance to anyone in MI or with MI based pension problems.

This program provides free health benefit counseling services to those aged 65 and older, those who are Medicare beneficiaries due to disability, and their families.

Service provider, program development, advocacy for senior services. Administers Title V Employment, MI Choice Medicaid Home and Community Based Waiver, Saginaw County Homemaking, Personal Care and Respite Care, MMAP which is the Medicare/Medicaid Counseling Service, and Information and Assistance.

The Valley Area Agency on Aging supports the following services in the three counties of Region V: Adult Day Care, Care Management Programs Caregiver Support Programs, Crisis Intervention, Elder Abuse Prevention & Education, Health Screenings, Hearing Impaired/Vision Services, Information & Assistance, Legal Assistance, Long-Term Care Ombudsman (Nursing Home Assistance), MI Choice Waiver Program, Nutrition Programs, Senior Centers and Valley CHOICE Programs.
